Summer Happenings in Park City and the Frost | Lindner Team Is Ready to Jump into the Season

And just like that, it is summer time in Park City! Blue skies and bright green aspens waving in the breeze with snow capped mountains are a reminder to get out and enjoy all of the incredible activities offered in our alpine town.

Get Out and Move

Many thanks to the Basin Recreation and Mountain Trails Foundation who maintain the hiking and biking trails around town. During our first hike of the season on Rob’s Trail, the forest management for fire prevention was evident as was a new trail at the Olympic Park. Rob’s Trail is located at the top of Sun Peak/Bear Hollow and is a beautiful walk or ride through aspen and pine groves. It connects to the Mid-Mountain Trail.

As you approach the trail head by car, consider the Enclave neighborhood and how great it would be to live there. Enclave is a community of 24 town homes and 4 private homes that have been architecturally designed to intrinsically blend with their natural surroundings. Contact us if you would like more information about our newest listing at 2599 Enclave Lane.

Ride the Lift

The “people movers” are outfitted to accommodate bikes too at Deer Valley and Park City Mountain Resort. Deer Valley lifts open June 14 and operate 10 am – 5 pm. Park City Mountain Resort lifts open June 8th and the various locations from Payday to the Red Pine Gondola start churning at 10 am. The Adventure Park also debuts on June 8th 10 am – 7 pm.

Song and Dance

Concerts provide music under the canopy of a Utah sky that glimmers late into the evening. The Deer Valley concert series is partners with the Utah Symphony & The State Room Presents beginning with a bang on July 5th.

“Concerts on the Slopes” in Canyons Village at the base of Park City Mountain Resort commence July 9th.

Food and Art

Park Silly Sunday Market debuts this weekend on June 2nd! Enjoy browsing local eateries and crafts while strolling Main Street.

The Park City Farmers Market has opened in the First Time Lot at Park City Mountain Resort. Offering everything for produce to local crafts, the Market is open 11 am – 6 pm on Wednesdays.

Gallery Mar on Main Street is featuring “Mother Nature” a solo exhibition of paintings by actress and artist Katherine Heigl.

Savor the Summit, an evening of dining down the middle of Main Street, will occur on June 22nd.

Short Sleeves But Hold The Planting Date To Father’s Day

As I was reminded at the local Park City Nursery where jewel colors are popping amongst green leaves, even though we are donning short sleeves, a frost may still occur as late as Father’s Day. So start herbs and tender plants inside, cover with a frost cloth, or bring them inside for the night.
