Born and raised in California, I bid farewell to San Diego with my family 10 years ago. Beach prices were high, but our visits to the ocean were few. With a 6 month-old baby, we sought a more affordable, family-friendly lifestyle. Park City, Utah, welcomed us with open arms. Its simplicity, with just a handful of schools, and a warm community, made us feel right at home. But it was Utah’s natural beauty that truly stole our hearts. Surrounded by five national parks, including the majestic Zion and Bryce Canyon, and countless outdoor recreation areas, it has been a paradise for our hiking, skiing, and mountain biking adventures. The lower cost of living, especially for housing, has been the cherry on top.
As members of this community, we are committed to supporting those in need during this difficult time.
