Francis Frontier Days and Labor Day Weekend
We’re on a video shoot this morning showcasing Frontier Acres, a new development with the perfect blend of modern living and outdoor adventure featuring contemporary new construction homes. We started at Francis Park where the lifestyle is serene and uplifting with abundant sunshine, cowboy hats, boots and spurs, and a patriotic National Anthem accompanied by a young boy riding a horse and carrying a large American flag fluttering in the breeze. Talented riders guided their horses around the ring to start the Frontier Days celebration that will include a rodeo tomorrow at 7:00 pm followed by a mid-day rodeo on Monday.
We continued on into Kamas past fields with hay bales and lowing cattle. A visit to the Bolt Ranch Store enticed us to return with our families soon. Mirror Lake Station, featuring award winning donuts, was the perfect treat while walking to the Ranger Station at the foot of the Uinta National Forest, the library and post office.
On our return walk, we noticed three planes flying in formation. Wondering if they were practicing for a Labor Day fly over, we started talking about some of the amazing things to do and see in the Park City area this Labor Day weekend.
