Before You Don Your Halloween Costume, Plan to Visit Local Ski Swaps Ahead of the Resorts Opening Dates

Trick or Treat - Snow Season is Here!

While you finish the final touches on your costume for Halloween, you might notice a new treat – snow piling up on the Wasatch Mountains. That means it’s also time to think about trying on your ski gear. Ski Swaps are happening now in the greater Salt Lake area in advance of the winter ski and snow board season. Here are a few to note on your calendar:

Cache Valley Ski Swap

October 26 and 27
Location: Cache Valley Fairgrounds
450 S 500 W
Logan, UT

Thursday, October 26 – 5:30pm–9pm, $5 for Ages 14+
Friday, October 27 – 3–9pm, Free Admission

Public Consignment Drop Off: Thursday, October 26, 10am–3pm
No gear older than seven years. Accepting apparel, but no soft goods (gloves, hats, etc.).

51st Annual Park City Ski Swap

October 27 and 28

Utah Valley Ski Swap

November 17 and 18
Location: The Show Barn at Thanksgiving Point

Friday, November 17 – 5:30pm–9pm, $8 for ages 14+
Saturday, November 18 – 10am–4pm, FREE

Public Consignment Drop Off: Friday, November 17, 10am–3pm
No gear older than seven years. Accepting apparel, but no soft goods (gloves, hats, etc.).

After you have your boots, socks, outer wear, coat, gloves, helmet, goggles, etc. ready to go, plan your first day on the slopes at one of the local resorts! Here are the opening dates:
