Let us share some more information about Deer Valley East Village. With construction, hospitality, and infrastructure advancing at a record pace, the East Village is redefining what modern mountain living can be – a seamless blend of adventure, luxury, and community.

Grand Hyatt Deer Valley: The Cornerstone of a New Era

The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley has quickly become a beacon of sophistication in its first operational year. Under the leadership of General Manager Nate Hardesty, the property continues to refine its guest experience while expanding its reach. Military partnerships are thriving, with bookings increasing as word spreads about the resort’s exceptional amenities and service. With conference bookings and tourism rising, the Grand Hyatt is poised for an exceptional 2025–26 ski season setting the tone for the entire East Village.

The Future of Mountain Hospitality: Construction Highlights

Progress continues across multiple landmark developments that will define Deer Valley’s next generation:

  • Deer Valley East Village Lodge (Skier Services): Construction financing is secured, and structural work is progressing to the third level. A temporary skier services lodge will operate during the 2025–26 season, offering dining and amenities while the main lodge prepares for its debut in 2027–28.
  • Cormont Residences by Reef: This collection of 372 luxury condominiums is already off to a stunning start, with $240 million in contracts signed across 77 units in Towers 1 and 5.
  • Lot 5 Five-Star Hotel & Residences: With mass excavation complete and vertical construction underway, this yet-to-be-named five-star resort will bring 132 hotel rooms and 105 residences to the village.
  • Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences Deer Valley: A major milestone was reached with a $600 million construction loan and 49 of 123 residences under contract. The project is expected to become a cornerstone of luxury hospitality in the Mountain West.

Residential Living: Marcella Landing & Velvaere

  • Marcella Landing has seen strong momentum, with 18 of the first 50 townhomes sold, averaging $8.4 million per home. Framing and steel construction have begun, signaling visible vertical progress.
  • Velvaere, the wellness-focused enclave, has sold 15 estate lots and secured site plan approval for its adventure center – a hub for holistic mountain living.

Canopy by Hilton: Progress on the Horizon

The 180-key Canopy by Hilton, adjacent to the Jordanelle Express Gondola, is coming to life. With drywall and mechanical systems nearing completion, interior finishes are now the focus. The hotel anticipates an opening in summer 2026, led by a newly hired GM and CFO.

Deer Valley Resort Expansion: The Largest in History

Perhaps the most anticipated transformation is on the mountain itself. The upcoming 2025–26 ski season marks the opening of Deer Valley’s 2,300-acre expansion, the largest in North American ski history. The new terrain will feature:

  • 100 new named runs
  • 10 new lifts
  • Over 80 miles of snowmaking pipeline
  • 1,200 snow guns and a 10-million-gallon snowmaking pond

With over 5,700 total skiable acres, 37 lifts, and 238 runs, Deer Valley will soon offer a ski experience that seamlessly connects East Village to the summit, an unparalleled evolution in mountain recreation.

Community & Sustainability Initiatives

Deer Valley East Village is being built with environmental stewardship at its core. The Marina West development, a 70-acre acquisition, will provide much-needed workforce housing (660–870 residences), retail, and recreational amenities, supported by world-renowned architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF).

The wildfire mitigation program, in partnership with Utah Open Lands and the Wasatch County Fire District, has already treated 75 acres of forest, with plans to expand annually. Additionally, 52 miles of fuel breaks now protect the region – a model of proactive conservation.

Infrastructure Milestones

Connectivity is key to East Village’s success. The newly completed 319 Connector Road now links the development to Jordanelle State Park and Highway 40, easing traffic and improving emergency access. Major utility upgrades and road paving continue across the project, ensuring infrastructure keeps pace with the vision.

A Future Written in the Mountains

From five-star hotels to innovative housing, from world-class ski expansions to sustainable growth — Deer Valley East Village represents the future of alpine living. It’s not just about building resorts; it’s about building community, connection, and legacy at the heart of the Wasatch.

This is more than development, it’s expanded excellence. Contact Frost Lindner Team for current listings, pre-construction pricing, and exclusive updates on future releases.
